ISTANBUL. – The Republican People’s Party (CHP), which is the main opposition party in Turkey, has issued a congratulatory message to the Armenian community in the country, on New Year and Christmas.
Also, the CHP’s congratulatory banners addressed to the Armenian community were posted at the densely Armenian-populated districts of Istanbul, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from the city.
“We congratulate the New Year of our Armenian community and wish happy holidays,” the banners read.
