American billionaire, co-founder of the National Instruments James Truchard has heard much about the Armenian Genocide, but after visiting the Memorial in Yerevan he realized the horrible essence of this tragedy, he told reporters in Yerevan.
According to him, he often had to work with the Armenians, and from time to time he heard from them about the Genocide. Moreover, he knew a man whose grandfather had been forced to escape to the United States during the Genocide.
“I saw with my own eyes all the evidence, the horror of what happened, but it should not have happened. We need to make sure that this will never happen again,” he said.
In the book for reviews, Truchard wrote that we need to fight against the inhuman attitude of a man towards a man.
James Truchard is on a visit to Armenia where he will be handed over Global IT Award.
