During the conference “Turkey-Russia relations: Building the Future” Turkish President’s Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin talked about the Artsakh issue.
According to Ermenihaber, he noted that Russia plays a big role in the settlement of the conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group. He reiterated Turkey’s view that the Minsk Group formed in 1992 has not been able to deliver the expected outcome so far, and the issue remains frozen.
Speaking about Turkey’s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, Kalin said that Turkey has come up with a number of initiatives on the issue. According to him, Turkey has closely cooperated with its Russian counterparts, but due to the interfering forces, the process has failed.
Kalin also emphasized that Turkey has no prejudice towards Armenia.
