The solo guitarist of the Armenian “Mik Aelian» band has won the first prize for the nomination of Best Guitarist at the Yamaha E-Band Competition 2018. As a.cstmapp.com reports, the Armenian has been awarded with Yamaha Revstar RSP20 electric guitar.
Khoren Mikaelian was born in 1988 in Yerevan. He graduated Yerevan music school after Tchaikovsky, then Spendarian music school. A graduate of Yerevan state Komitas Conservatory, Mikaeian took the second place in 2013 at the Moscow international guitar festival.
To note, Yamaha Music Gulf FZE (YMGF) has been held for the third year. It’s an amateur band competition of video-recorded live performances of bands from diverse cultures of GCC, Middle East, CIS, West Asia and African regions.
