German Chancellor Angela Merkel will pay an official visit to Armenia on 24-25 August, the government’s press service told Panorama.am.
During the two-day visit, the German leader and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will hold high-level talks to be summed up later at a joint news conference.
Merkel is also expected to meet with President Armen Sarkissian.
The German chancellor will visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to pay homage to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
