A national front must be created to protect the interests of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Today, religious scholar Vardan Khachatryan told about this at a meeting with journalists. According to him, the creation of the front solves the problem on the agenda. It is not created to protect the Catholicos.
“The protection of the Catholicos is first and foremost not a purely personal issue, and then, I personally visited those people who protested and tried to listen impartially to the arguments, which did not impress me. Such a process can lead only to tensions and collisions, behind which shame can be seen.”
According to Vardan Khachatryan, the front can solve both external problems and hot problems of the internal world.
“We do not have one universal institution, and the formation of this front can solve the problem of obtaining a new diaspora.”
