Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is set to host the 5th edition of the Fresco International Film Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual-Moral Films from 22 June to July 1.
The solemn opening of the 10-day festival will be held at the area close to the Swan Lake this Friday, the Yerevan Municipality’s press service told Panorama.am.
Held under the slogan “Fresco’s Humanistic Message to the World”, the festival has selected some 28 films of 13 countries from thousands of applications for this year.
The festival program includes film screenings and discussions, concerts, master classes, meetings with filmmakers from different countries and other events.
This year, the Fresco International Film Festival features 7 categories – Best message of “Faith” , Best message of “Hope” , Best message of “Love”, Best message of “Peace”, Best message of “Courage”, Best message of “Humanism” and Best message of “Patriotism”.
The event is organized as part of the Yerevan Summer 2018 three-month program being implemented by the Yerevan City Hall.
