Due to the invasion of ISIS on the city of Sinjar on August 3rd, 2014, many of the Yazidi children were forced to leave schools and dismiss their education.
Their school buildings and educational facilities were destroyed by ISIS in order to spread educational ignorance in the community. So far, the government failed to make any efforts to repair and rebuild these educational facilities, resulting in a lack of education stretching over the past three years now.
Subsequently, Yazidi children are without education as the lack of basic requirements caused demotivation amongst them.
This video shows the devastating extent of the destruction of schools and educational facilities, as well as the lack of basic necessities, furthermore depicting the daily challenges children face in continuing their education.

بسبب غزو “داعش” على بلدة شنكال (سنجار) في 3اب / اغسطس عام 2014، اضطر العديد من الاطفال الايزيدين على ترك مدراسهم ومواصلة تعليمهم، حيث اقدم داعش على تدمير المباني المدرسية والمؤسسات التعليمية وذلك من اجل نشر اللاوعي والجهل في المجتمع ، وحتى الان عجزت الحكومة في بذل اي جهود بخصوص اعادة ترميم وبناء هذه المؤسسات التعليمية، ما ادى الى تدهور القطاع التعليمي على مدى اكثر من ثلاث سنوات ماضية. الاطفال الايزيديون لا يتمتعون بالتعليم الكافي ويتفتقدون الى المستلزمات الاساسية التي تعرقل مشوارهم الدراسي.
يظهر في الفيديو المرفق حجم الدمار الذي لحق بالمباني المدرسية و الافتقار الى وجود المستلزمات الضرورية الى جانب التحديات اليومية التي يواجهها الاطفال في مواصلة تعليمهم.
