STEPANAKERT. – The adversary breached the truce along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces around 200 times, from January 21 to 27.
During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 2,000 shots toward the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) military positions, the Artsakh Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed.
In addition, the adversary launched a sabotage infiltration attempt on Thursday at around 2am, at the southeastern sector of the Line of Contact. But as a result of the preventive actions taken by the NKR Defense Army, these Azerbaijani special detachments were pushed back.
The Defense Army vanguard units continue to have full control over the frontline, and to confidently carry out their combat duty.
