Another April: Truth Held Hostage by Ambassador John Evans

The USC Institute of Armenian Studies is proud to host the launch of Truth Held Hostage by Ambassador John Evans
Friday, April 22, 7 pm at Hilton Pasadena
 FREE ADMISSION

Mr. Evans served as US ambassador to Armenia until 2005, when he lost his job for using the word Genocide to describe the Turkish government’s policy of extermination in 1915.  In his book, he chronicles his experiences prior to and following his public statement. Ambassador Evans will be present at the event.
Established in 2005, the USC Institute of Armenian Studies supports multidisciplinary scholarship to re-define, explore and study the complex issues that make up the contemporary Armenian experience – from post-Genocide to the developing Republic of Armenia to the evolving Diaspora. The Institute encourages research, publications and public service, and promotes links among the global academic and Armenian communities.
