Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Surp Tznund- Happy Holidays

Dear Friends and Supporters of Ararat Foundation,
The year is coming to an end and we are approaching the new year of 2016 with new dreams, hopes for ourselves and others close to us. May all of your dreams come true in this coming new year.

We, ” Ararat Foundation ” had a very busy and productive year in 2015. We have held several cultural and educational events in various cities in California and were instrumental in the creation of ” HaiEm, ” a long awaited youth social and educational organization.
We also were active with our humanitarian projects in Artsakh and Armenia. Over $ 70,000 worth of essential goods (new clothing etc.) were donated to over 16 villages and towns for the villagers and school children in Artsakh, in Karvajar (New Shahumyan Region).
The Karvajar Cultural and Art Center in Artsakh is in dire need of repair and is in the center of our attention. An acre of land dedicated to the memory of Khandut Avetyan, a devoted servant of our people in Artsakh who passed away in August of 2015 at age 35, is in the process of being converted to a garden in New Vernishen with the following; a ” Matur “, an open amphitheater, water fountains, play ground for children and numerous other attractions. All this work is under planning and our consideration.
“Ararat Foundation” has a representative in Armenia and Artsakh, a humanitarian director in Armenia and Artsakh and two wonderful reporters reporting to all diaspora newspapers about happenings in our homeland.
With your help, we are creating jobs and bringing hope to those in need and a promise of better days in the future for our brothers and sisters in our homeland. In the coming weeks more details of our collective work will be provided to you and to the general public at large. Then, we will sincerely be needing your moral and financial support to have progress in those wonderful projects.
Have a wonderful holiday season and please accept our best wishes for Christmas, New Year and Surp Tznund.
Best Regards,
Ararat Foundation
