Armenia’s Independence Day Will Be Celebrated This Sunday

Armenia And The Cinema Of Independence.

2016 marks 25 years of independence. Come watch films and celebrate one of the most important milestones in Armenian history. All of the films were shot in Armenia in the last 25 years, and together they paint a dynamic human portrait of hopes, dreams, struggles, and outcome of this decisive period of upheaval.

Lusine Sargsyan, the Armenia-born director of the feature film THE ABODE, will join for a Q/A with Los Angeles-based filmmaker Eric Nazarian.

The event will be at Laemmle Playhouse 7 in Pasadena, from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Admission is free.
