130,000 March in Los Angeles to Commemorate the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide

More than 130,000 took part in the March for Justice on April 24, 2015 to mark the centennial of the Armenian Genocide according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Demonstrators started the march from the Little Armenia neighborhood in Hollywood and proceeded to walk six miles to the Turkish consulate on Wilshire Boulevard, in the second largest march in the history of the State of California. Leading the supporters were clergy, members of congress, state, civic and foreign officials as well as community leaders.
