A collective service with the participation of the Armenian Apostolic, Catholic and Evangelical Churches will be held at St. Mary’s Armenian Church in Glendale on April 23, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., the eve of the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The day’s celebrant will be His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian. The day’s homily will be delivered by His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian.
The Most Rev. Bishop Mikael Mouradian and Rev. Hendrik Shanazarian will address the congregation with their heartfelt remarks.
Following the service, the clergy will gathered at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Cross Stone where a Requiem Service will be held for the souls of the 1.5 million martyrs who perished during the Armenian Genocide.
All faithful are invited to take part in the commemorative service.
