Greetings! Once again NAASR is pleased to announce our 2013 Trip to Historic Armenia. This trip will take place June 16-July 2, 2013. We are honored to share with you that once again the academic leader accompanying us will be Prof. Emeritus of UCLA, Richard Hovannisian, along with our esteemed tour guide, Armen Aroyan.
The tour is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to secure a place on the trip we request that you kindly send a deposit check of $500 per person no later than Friday, March 1, 2013. We offer participation in this trip only to dues-paid members of NAASR. The cost of the tour in Turkey is $3,500 per person, double occupancy, which includes the in-country air flights, ground transportation, hotels, breakfast & dinner, plus driver gratuities, AND a $500 tax-deductible donation to NAASR. A single room supplement is also available for $500.
The itinerary for the trip is listed below. Please note that you are welcome to extend your tour at either end of the trip. As an option, you can choose to extend your time in Istanbul either before June 17th or at the end of the trip (July 2nd), at an additional cost of $180 per night double occupancy (or $165 per night single occupancy). Also, tours of the Armenian sites in Istanbul can be arranged based on the interest of participants, at an additional cost. Each participant is responsible for making his or her own round-trip flight arrangements to and from Istanbul, securing your visa at the Istanbul airport, travel insurance (recommended), and any other miscellaneous fees. The payment schedule is as follows: Deadline – FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2013 $500 per person deposit required to secure a reservation BALANCE DUE – FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2013 $3,000* OR $3,500* if taking the single room supplement. *Additional costs for optional extensions in Istanbul will also be due at this time.

Remember – we are unable to hold any space unless we have received payment check from you. If the trip is over-subscribed, you will be notified and your name will be placed on a wait list, based on receipt of your sign-up form and deposit check.
