The Western Diocese is proud to announce that the Western Diocese Summer Camp Board has introduced a new program entitled the “Buy-a-Brick campaign.”
This campaign not only beautifies the Summer Camp property by laying brick where there was previously dusty pathways, but it also gives an opportunity to the faithful to make a reasonable contribution to the improvement of the Camp property as well as become part of Camp history.

On this auspicious occasion the Primate of the Western Diocese, His Eminence Abp. Hovnan Derderian, would like to announce that he will be the first participant of this campaign by personally donating an 8×8 inch brick in the name of the Youth of the Western Diocese.

“The Summer Camp is truly a divine blessing bestowed upon the youth of the Western Diocese, which has been provided for them by the hard work and contributions of the faithful. I call on all those who see spiritual value in the Western Diocese Summer Camp to help support it by participating in the Buy-a-Brick campaign”, said His Eminence, “Let your participation be the physical manifestation of your prayers for the youth of our Diocese.”

Western Diocese Armenian Church Summer Camp at Camp Hye Sierra is an experience that stays with you for a lifetime. The Armenian Church Summer Camp Board is excited to announce our Buy-a-Brick campaign. We are inviting you to become a permanent part of Camp history by purchasing a commemorative 4×8 inch brick in our new Great Lodge Courtyard. This is a unique and special way for you, a member of your family, or a past love one to be honored in a lasting and memorable way.
The donation for each 4×8 inch brick is $100.00 or purchase an 8×8 inch brick for $250.00. The funds raised will be used to make necessary improvements to Camp Hye Sierra and to keep our facility looking beautiful!
