Turkey has announced plans to cooperate with Azerbaijan in producing military machinery. Two of the country’s companies have submitted proposals to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry on joint production of weaponry. The sale of military equipment is not planned.
Asilsan and Rocketsan companies have outlined specific projects on such cooperation, Ambassador Turan Morali told journalists.
“Turkey has established its military industry and possesses technical capacities and extensive infrastructure, while the Azerbaijani ministry has just been set up. God willing, Azerbaijan and Turkey will gradually start working together in this area.”
