Yerevan, November 28. ArmInfo. The twosome meeting of Armenian and Azeri Presidents Robert Kocharyan and Ilham Aliyev in the building of the Russian Embassy in Minsk finished literally several minutes ago.
An ArmInfo correspondent informs from Minsk that after the meeting, no announcements by the Presidents or the OSCE Minsk Group cochairmen have been done for the press. The Armenian delegation led by the President has already departed. To note, journalists were not allowed to be present at the presidents’ meeting in the Russian Embassy.
The third twosome meeting of the presidents in 2006 was preceded by an enlarged meeting with the participation of the two countries’ Foreign Ministers Vardan Oskanyan and Elmar Mamediarov, Russian and Belgian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Karel De Gucht, as well as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Nagorno-Karabakh Anjey Kasprzyk.
To remind, the Armenian and Azeri Presidents went to Minsk to participate in the CIS summit, but they didn’t take part in the press-conference on the results of the summit.
