Public Television and Radio Council on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Armenian Public Television and 80th anniversary of Armenian Public Radio has organized numerous celebrations, which will be introduced to you by Public Television.
On September 21 the grand concert-discotheque organized in the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre yard will be broadcast on “New Channel” and “Radio Yerevan”.
On November 26 Public Armenian Television will broadcast the concert organized in Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre devoted to the 50th anniversary of Armenian Public Television and 80th anniversary of Armenian Public Radio.
Many guests and singers from different countries, representatives from the Union of European Broadcasters, as well as from “Eurovision” song contest, from French First and Second TV Channels, from Georgian Television, from BBC and from Russian Public Television will take part in the celebration.
Besides the above mentioned celebrations many other concerts and favorite programs will be broadcast, interesting meetings will be organized with those who have had their asset in the development of Public Television and Radio.
Many discussions and talk shows will be organized, during which you will discover the history of the development of Television and Radio, their achievements and prospects.
At the end of the year the Public Radio Gold Fund will release the CD of the selected works of the record library. A DVD will be released in Armenian, English, German, French and Russian, where the history of Television and Radio will be available.
