Yerevan, November 16. ArmInfo. The ceremony of opening the first Sharjah-Yerevan- Sharjah flight by Air Arabia was held in Yerevan, Thursday.
Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammad Al Thani, the chairman of Air Arabia company, has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the ceremony. He said that the Middle East gets more and more interested in Armenia, and this is proved by the opening of the flight. He noted that the air companies’ competition on the Armenian market will also be a cooperation.
Today, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanyan received Abdulla bin Mohammad Al Thani. Gharibjanyan said that Armenia welcomes the Arabian Airlines’ entry to the Armenian market which will allow to form a healthy competition. Armenia also welcomes the participation of the Emirates’ capital in the sphere of real estate and agriculture, he said.
To note, regular Yerevan-Dubai- Yerevan flights are operated also by the Armenian Airlines.
