/PanARMENIAN.Net/ French President Jacques Chirac will visit Armenia from September 29 during which he’s expected to visit a monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, a move that could damage already tense relations between Turkey and France, reports the New Anatolian.
President Jacques Chirac will participate in activities within the framework of “Armenian Year in France” and will meet with his Armenian counterpart Robert Kocharian. The two presidents are expected to discuss the Armenian genocide claims, the future status of the Nagorno Karabakh and bilateral relations between Yerevan and Paris.
