AS TO DELEGATES OF GERMANY´S RC, THEIR GOVERNMENT HAS TO RECOGNIZE FACT OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE WITHOUT TRICKS OF LAW

Yerevan, August 21. ArmInfo. Germany has to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide unconditionally, Heinz Galonska, the Head of the Red Cross of Marburg-Bidenkopf, expressed such an opinion in an interview with journalists.

To be noted, the delegates of Germany’s Red Cross visited the “Tsitsernakakaberd” memorial in Yerevan August 20, having revered the memory of 1915 Armenian Genocide victims with a minute of silence. The Germany’s Red Cross representatives also visited the Museum-Institute of the Armenian Genocide and planted a fir in the Alley of Memory of the Genocide Victims. In the opinion of Galonska, the German Bundestag, adopting a resolution “Day of Commemoration of Armenians on the Occasion of 90th Anniversary of April 24, 1915 Genocide”, had to use an exact language of Law for correct classification of the past century events. The representative of the Red Cross emphasized that the official Bundestag had used another language as regards the Genocide recognition, avoiding a pressing by the International Community, which Germany had experienced during recognition of Holocaust.
