MORE THAN 3500 COMPANIES WITH FOREIGN CAPITAL EXIST IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. More than 3500 companies with foreign capital exist in Armenia, as the RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan stated while answering to questions of “emergency line” of “Azg” Armenian newspaper.

“Among them rather big number of representatives of Armenian Diaspora is registered, which successfully develop their business in their native land”, Maragaryan emphasized.

He said the investment field and legislative framework of Armenia is rather favorable for entrepreneurship.

“Results of monitoring of international organization testify this too”, he emphasized.

According to the data of the RA National Statistic Service, as of January 1, 2006, the total amount of investments in enterprises with foreign capital (3261 legal entities and 412 solitary subdivisions) makes AMD 253,4 bln (about $563 mln.). In January-March 2006, 61 enterprises with foreign capital were registered in Armenia. The amount of investments into this organizations made AMD 111,15 mln. S.P.–
