Forty-fifth victim in A-320 crash near Sochi identified

SOCHI. May 6 (Interfax) – Another victim of the plane crash near Sochi has been identified, and six bodies out of the 51 found remain unidentified, Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatian said.

“Six unidentified bodies are in morgues in Adler and Sochi,” the ambassador said.

“All relatives have given blood samples for DNA tests,” the ambassador said, adding that the relatives of all those dead will be sent to Armenia on Saturday and Sunday.

Some relatives have remained in Armenia, because they were unable to travel to Sochi. “They, all in all 20 people, will give their blood samples in Armenia, and the results of DNA tests will be sent to Russia,” the ambassador said.

The Armavia A-320 crashed in the night of May 3 during landing, killing all 113 aboard.
