Armenia, NATO aren’t ready for each other – official

YEREVAN, April 14 (Itar-Tass) — Armenia is not ready to enter into NATO, and NATO is not ready to accept Armenia, Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanyan said at the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) State University on Friday.

He met with a group of students from the MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Armenian security system is made up of several components, among them the membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), relations with NATO and the participation in European Union programs, he said.
