Gibrahayer 12 April, 2006. It is Avak Shapat and Armenians in Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol are getting ready to celebrate Easter with religious ceremonies, community and school gatherings. On Sunday April 9, on the occasion of Dzaghgazart, Holy Liturgy was conducted in all towns.
On Friday April 7, the Nareg students were invited for breakfast by the Armenian Prelature, as a token of appreciation for their participation in the ceremony of Arevakal.

Saturday April 15 (Avak Shapat) – Jamerkoutiun 4:30pm – Entertsvadzner 5:00 pm – Badarak 5:30 pm
Sunday April 16 (Sourp Zadig) – Jamerkoutiun 9:00pm – Badarak 10:00 pm – Karoz 11:00 pm
Arrangements have been made for Paren Vartabed Vartanian Director of Trchnots Pouyn in Beirut to officiate the ceremonies in Limassol, while in Larnaca the ceremonies will be officiated by the town pastor Der Mashdots.
