EU Leader In Investments In Armenian Economy

Yerevan, April 7. /ARKA/. The European Union (EU) is the leader in investments in Armenia’s economy, RA Deputy Minister of Trade and Economic Development Tigran Davtyan told reporters. He said that the EU’s share is 50% of all foreign investments in Armenia’s economy in 2005.
Davtyan said that Russia’s share is only 25%, as much as the joint share of the USA, Lebanon, Argentina and other countries.
Foreign investments in Armenia totaled $504.5mln in 2005, an 8.3% increase compared to 2004.
