Col. Seiran Shakhsuvarian said the soldier was shot about midday Friday in the northeastern Idzhevan region.. Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a cease-fire agreement in 1994 after six years of fighting over Nagorno-Karabakh, an ethnic Armenian enclave within Azerbaijan..
