Tehran, Feb 15 (ISNA)-Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki at the head of a board has gone to Armenia .In this trip Mottaki met Armenian President, Robert Kocharian.
Kocharian, while emphasizing on the continuance of mutual friendly ties, called Iran-Armenia’s gas pipeline and expressway as an idol for developing bilateral economic relationships and requested the construction of another road between the two countries.
For his part, the Iranian FM while emphasizing on Iran’s will to possess peaceful nuclear energy, voiced his country’s determination for a broad-based cooperation between the two countries.
Iran’s Foreign Minister also in this trip met with Armenian Minister of Defense, Serj Sarkissian and Prime Minister Andranik Markarian and discussed mutual interests.
