YEREVAN, February 13 (Itar-Tass) – Yerevan is positive about the continuation of the talks between the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents, Robert Kocharyan and Ilkham Aliyev, in the Paris suburb Rambouillet.
“Despite accords on Karabakh settlement have not been achieved, the Armenian side positively assesses the fact of the continuation of the talks,” the Armenian president’s press secretary Viktor Sogomonyan told reporters on Monday.
He said that before the meeting of the presidents on Sunday, Kocharyan held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, in which they discussed prospects for settlement of the conflict.
