The song that will represent Armenia at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest will be called ‘Without Your Love’.
ARMTV describe the song on their website as a “beautiful love song which is a mixture of modern and ethnic elements.” The composer of the song is the Conductor of Jazz Orchestra of Armenia, Armen Martirosyan. The arrangement and instrumentation comes from Ara Torosyan.
The first Armenian performer to enter the contest is popular singer Andre. He has twice won the annual National Music Awards for best male solo performance. He is a top selling artist in the country, having won a range of awards at various music festivals.
The song will be aired for the first time on 15 March and through the ARMTV website at:
