Secretary of Football Federation of Azerbaijan Fahid Musayev sounded that after holding a consultation they came to the conclusion that the forthcoming meetings between Azeri and Armenian football teams are expedient to be hold in a neutral field, possibly in Tbilisi.
Armenian party stated several times that is ready to receive Azeri team or provided that security guarantees are got, go to Baku. President of Footbal Federation of Armenia Rouben Hayrapetyan had told «A1+» that due to UEFA demands meetings must be held in one of the two countries and Armenia is ready to be to this variant’s credit just after casting of lots.
Yesterday FFA chief executive Armen Minasyan noted that Armenia is ready to be the first to go to Baku.
UEFA, which has the right of last word hasn’t considered the possibility of playing in a neutral field yet. Possibly the place will be fixed at the discussion to be held in Brussels on February 10.
