ARMENIAN PEACE-KEEPERS TO LEAVE FOR IRAQ

The third shift of the Armenian peace-keeping mission will leave for Iraq on January 21. The shift which consists of 46 soldiers including doctors, sappers, drivers and commanders, will realize the peace-keeping mission in the town of Alkut 100 kilometers away from Iraq.

Let us remind you that at the end of the NA autumn session the Parliament approved the offer of President Robert Kocharyan to prolong the international treaty of peace-keeping mission in Iraq for a year.
