YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS: The capital of Armenia with its more than 1 million population has seven swimming pools, while under the Soviets it had 20 pools. These seven pools are owned by different organizations which charge different fees from swimmers. The national swimming federation is subsidized by the budget annually some 15 million drams.
