Today the meeting of the joint opposition started at 04:00
p.m. At present there are about 2 thousand people in the area
near the Matenadaran, that’s to say – less than in the previous
meeting. According to the participants of the meeting, the number
is accounted for by the fact that the arrival of the people from the
regions is hindered and by the passiveness and misinformation by the
Mass Media.
At the beginning of the meeting leader of the Heritage party Raffi
Hovannisian made speech and said to the representatives of the Mass
Media, “Try to announce that there will be a meeting here on December
16 at 04:00 p.m. and you will see how many people will come”.
Raffi Hovannisian also said that he is going to send an open letter
to Robert Kocharyan consisting of 22 point. He read the letter out
and announced that he will take it to the President himself.
At present the meeting is going on. It is noteworthy that all the
opposition leaders are standing on the Matenadaran platform.
