Brussels, November 29, Noyan Tapan. One of the first projects of Belgium-Armenian Commerce Chamber (BACC) is the holding of a business forum on economic opportunities in Armenia in Brussels in 2006, and organizing a visit of Belgian businessmen to Armenia. This was announced at an event dedicated to the foundation of BACC, which took place at the De Zeip center in Brussels on November 27. Valery Safarian is the Founding Chairman of BACC.
According to the RA MFA Press and Information Department, the Armenian Ambassador Vigen Chitechian made a welcoming speech, in which he underlined the importance of founding the Chamber in terms of most efficient development of the trade and economic relations between Armenia and Belgium. It was noted that a number of Belgian companies, including those engaged in the tourism sector, stated their intention to cooperate with BACC.
