ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO PAY OFFICIAL VISIT TO SLOVENIA

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: Armenian president Robert Kocharian will pay an official visit to Slovenia on November 21. Kocharian’s press office said the Armenian delegation, headed by the president, includes also justice and agriculture ministers, the chairman of the customs committee, Armenian ambassador to Slovenia and other government officials.

The goal of the visit is to deepen bilateral contacts and outline the main areas in which both countries could develop cooperation, as well as to hold an exchange of opinions on a wide scope of issues.

During a three-day visit Kocharian will have meetings with Slovenian president Janes Drnovic, prime minister Janes Jansa, parliament chairman Frans Cukjati. The agenda of the meetings will be topped by discussions on the prospects for boosting ties.

Kocharian will also meet with foreign minister Dmitrij Rupel, who is the chairman-in-office of the OSCE, leaders of the biggest opposition Liberal Democratic party. The Armenian delegation will also visit the municipalities of Ljubljana and Piran fly back home on November 23.
