BAKU: Azerbaijan Beats Armenia In U17 European Champ Match

Azerbaijan's U17 football players sealed a 3:0 win over the Armenian
team in the first qualifying leg of the European championship being
held in Israel.

The Azeri team's forward Bakhtiyar Sultanov scored the first goal in
the first half-time of the match.

Azeris kicked the second goal at the start of the second half-time,
while the last goal came at the 70th minute, bringing the team its
second win over the Armenian players.

The country's leading football club, Neftchi, beat Armenia's Punik
2:0 this January.*
