YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, ARMENPRESS: Prime minister Andranik Margarian told today the newly appointed ambassador of the Hellenic Republic Ms. Panayota Mavromikhali he was sure that the deep-rooted friendship between Armenia and Greece will continue developing.
Margarian was quoted by the government press office as saying that president Kocharian’s planned visit to Greece in November will become an impetus to bolster mutually beneficial bilateral ties. He also singled out Armenia’s inclusion in NEP saying it would raise these ties to a higher level.
They also emphasized Armenia-Greece cooperation in defense and security areas expressing hope that the next meeting of the bilateral commission on economic cooperation would help further promote trade and economic contacts.
