YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS: Giuseppe del O’sso, the president of the Italian Cuisine Academy, said the Academy will open a branch in Yerevan soon.
The Italian is in Yerevan attending an extensive set of events celebrating the Month of Italian Culture in Armenia. Talking to reporters after opening an exhibition of Italian Cuisine in Yerevan d’Osso said national cuisines are integral part of every nation’s culture and can help nations to grasp and perceive their peculiarities. He said the Academy has 70 branches around the world and praised the quality of food offered by four Italian restaurants in Yerevan.
D’Orsso said he had already visited an Armenian fruit and vegetable market and was fascinated by the diversity and quality of fruits.
