YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19. ARMINFO. The air tickets for Yerevan-Istanbul and Yerevan- Moscow-Istanbul flights have been almost equalized, general sales representative for these flights of “Bagrattour” company Bagrat Novoyan told journalists.
He said the cost of the tickets for Yerevan-Istanbul flight fluctuate between $250-300 depending on the day and the season. The tickets have risen in price by $25 during the last 2 years due to the high fuel prices. The ticket for Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan flight costs about $300. He explained it by the fact that the prices for aviation fuel at Yerevan Zvartnots airport and in Istanbul are some $700 per ton. In the meantime, in Moscow the fuel costs about $420. At one time 90% of passengers preferred flying from Yerevan to Istanbul in transit through Moscow as it was cheaper, Bagrat Novoyan said.
