DAYTIME CHILDREN CARE CENTER TO BE BUILT IN GYUMRI

GYUMRI, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS: The lion share of 42 million Armenian drams required for construction of a day time children care center in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri expected to come from a UN agency and the rest from the government.

The center will be dealing with child beggars and destitute children in the town from socially vulnerable, impoverished families with diverse backgrounds. They will be entitled to the full benefits that the Center will offer: food, clothing, medical, psychological and social services, tutoring and field trips. This is part of a major project designed to take the burden from children houses. A team of experts from social affairs and labor ministry have discussed the details with local authorities.
