SOFIA, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenian weightlifters have snatched three medals at European junior championship in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.
Tigran Martirosian (69 kg) from Gyumri won gold medal after setting six new European records one after another. He was also awarded a special prize of the European Weightlifting Federation. Alexan Muradian (74 kg), also from Gyumri, won silver and a bronze was won by another Armenian.
