ARMENIAN PARTY CONFIRMS FACT OF CAPTURE OF AZERBAIJANI WARRANT OFFICER AND NOT SOLDIER

YEREVAN, AUGUST 19. ARMINFO. The Armenian party has really captured a warrant officer of the Azerbaijan armed forces, while information on capture of a soldier does not correspond to reality. Press Secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Colonel Seyran Shahsouvaryan informs ARMINFO. Colonel Shahsouvaryan explains the misunderstanding by the possibility that the Mass Media might confuse the title of the military. He confirms that the Azerbaijani warrant officer was really captured some two weeks ago. It should be noted that the Azerbaijani party was first to state on capture of the military on August 17 without mentioning the military title of the captive.

The Azerbaijani Mass Media referring to the head of the task group of the State Commission for Hotages, Prisoners and the Missing of Azerbaijan Firudin Sadikhov spread the information of the capture of the military Ramil Khudaverdiyev. According to the Azerbaijani 525th newspaper, at present the captive is in one of the temporary isolation wards in Yerevan. His health state and the conditions he kept in are satisfactory. All the necessary conditions are created for visits ands registration of the captive by the Yerevan Office of the ICRC.
