Today at noon in the Equatorial Guinea Justice Ministry the ceremony of giving the 6 forgiven Armenian pilots to the official representative of Armenia took place.
The Justice Ministry Secretary General Javier Aseco Abeso read the decree of President Nguema after which RA Foreign Ministry representative Gevorg Petrosyan thanked the President of Equatorial Guinea on behalf of the President and Government of Armenia for granting freedom to the Armenia pilots. Andranik Mihranyan thanked the President on behalf of the World Armenian Congress President Ara Abrahamyan.
Afterwards Gevorg Petrosyan was given the documents of setting the pilots free and their passports. Commander Ashot Karapetyan, second pilot Samvel Darbinyan, Navigator Samvel Machkalyan, technicians Razmik Khachatryan and Souren Mouradyan, and engineer Ashot Simonyan were set free and went to the hotel.
