YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS: Henk Wissman from Holland will be new coach of Armenia’s national soccer team . He was picked up by Armenian Football Federation president Ruben Hayrapetian to fill in the vacancy after he sacked several months ago former French international Bernard Casoni.
Casoni lost six of his eight games in charge of Armenia, the only victory being the Group 1 home success against Andorra on 26 March. Wissman was coach of Dutch Vollendam and de Bosch. Armenian Football Federation has signed a 7 months+2 contract with Wissman, which supposes that he will be coaching also Armenia’s many-time champion Pyunik FC. On June 4 Armenia is to play against Macedonia in 2006 World Cup qualifier.
