MEETING OF ARMENIAN AND AZERI FMS PLANNED IN PARIS TODAY POSTPONED

The meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Vardan Oskanian and Elmar Mamedyarov, planned to be held in Paris today, is postponed. March 2 in Prague Azeri FM Elmar Mamedyarov met with Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the head of the OSCE fact finding mission “on illegal settlement of Armenians in the occupied Azeri territories,” Emily Margaret Harber. The parties acquainted themselves with the provisions of the report, drawn by the OSCE mission and exchanged views on the subject. The details of the statements of the mediators and the Azeri Minister are not revealed yet. As Elmar Mamedyarov told journalists in the course of one of the breaks, the OSCE MG Co-Chairs insisted on it not to create excessive stir. In his turn Mamedyarov noted that the report really does not include items that could cause stir. He said the report text will be presented to the public after the members of the OSCE Permanent Council get acquainted with it March 17. The FM also reported that the OSCE mission document is presented to the OSCE MG Co-Chairs as well. They have to draw their own report based on it and to present it to the Minsk Group wide membership in Vienna March 16.
