ARMENIAN, AZERI AND GEORGIAN ENVIRONMENTALISTS MEET IN BRUSSELS

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARMENPRESS: Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the European Union, the founders of the Caucasian Regional Nature Protection Center, held a two-day meeting in Brussels in February 8-9 to sum up the results of the Center’s five year-long work and outline its future plans. The Armenian delegation was headed by deputy nature protection minister S. Papian.

The ministry said among other issues the participants discussed also ways for improvement of cooperation.

The Armenian minister suggested that a joint task force be set up to prepare a package of reforms aimed at improving the Center’s activity.
