France’s Armenian Year will start in September 2006 and will continue until July 2007.
During that time many cultural events will take place in Paris and 15 other French cities, and also in Yerevan. Armenian paintings, manuscripts, and books will be exhibited in French museums, and concerts and cultural shows will be performed in French concert halls. The French press will publish articles and TV channels will broadcast programs about Armenia.
One of the main events, “The Christian Armenian Cultural Show”, will take place in the Louve.
