ONE OF SCHOOLS AND STREETS IN YEREVAN WILL BE NAMED AFTER ARMENIAN WRITER HRANT MATEVOSSYAN

YEREVAN, JANUARY 19. ARMINFO. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the great Armenian writer Hrant Matevossyan one of the schools and streets in Yerevan will be named after him. It was decided Wednesday during the sitting of the Jubilee commission preparing arrangements dedicated to that day.

As ARMINFO was informed in the press-service of the RA Government, the process of implementation of the previous sitting’s instructions, as well as the various jubilee programs were submitted in the course of the sitting.

The jubilee arrangements will also take place in Moscow. In particular, one of the Days of the Armenian culture will be dedicated to Hrant Matevossyan’s memory.
